Tiny dancers will explore dance each week with an action packed fun theme! Each day will include; dance, arts and crafts and activities with a performance at the end of the week! Our camps are taught by our professional, experienced staff, and we offer a low student to teacher ratio, with help from our Balance assistants. Specific dance attire and shoes are not required, just come comfortable and ready to move. Students will need to bring a packed lunch, water bottle, and snack (Please note, we are a nut free studio). Join us for an engaging three-day beginner-intermediate workshop in Sling aerial, also known as aerial hammock. Designed for those with no aerial experience to students with foundational skills, this workshop delves deeper into the endless possibilities of the fabric. Explore climbs, creative transitions, dynamic choreography, and inverted sequences that challenge your strength and expand your repertoire. Build on your core and upper body strength while refining technique and flow as you move with confidence and artistry through the fabric.
In this workshop, we will learn how to apply improvisation to your toolbelt. Through improvisation, dancers can explore and develop their artistic voice, and investigate abstract concepts and prompts to challenge and deepen their connection with movement texture, dynamics, tempo, etc. All styles (hip hop, jazz, contemporary, etc.) are welcome to join
Unleash your inner star this summer with our Wicked-themed Musical Theater workshop! Designed for kids who love to sing, dance, and act, this 3-day workshop invites participants to step into the magical world of Oz. Through thrilling choreography, dramatic scenes, and enchanting songs inspired by the hit musical Wicked, your child will develop performance skills, build confidence, and make lifelong friends.
From exploring the rivalry of Elphaba and Glinda to learning show-stopping musical numbers, kids will feel like Broadway stars while having fun in a creative, supportive environment.
Come and train your strength, stability, and consistency of acrobatic movements. This workshop will focus on the clarity of fundamental trick details to improve the safety and beauty of execution. Conditioning and flexibility will be a focus at the beginning of each day followed by extensive trick work. Dancers will be introduced to new acrobatic elements while getting plenty of one-on-one attention to master skills they’ve already been working on. Each day will also involve incorporating these skills into a center combination emphasizing the flow and artistry of acrobatic dance.
This Jumps and Turns workshop will spend 3 days working on the foundations of proper technique and execution. Dancers will utilize repetition to build strength and muscle memory for skills and exciting tricks. Throughout this workshop, dancers will experience conditioning, across-the-floor progressions, center work, and a deep dive into fine-tuning their skills. Dancers will gain a deeper understanding of all the integral parts of the body that work together to create beautiful extensions, turns, and leaps throughout the 3-day workshop.
